The Brilliance and Radiance phono preamps are the culmination of an audio dream that began in 1982. The intervening years are a study of various circuit techniques, listening, redesigning, examining flaws in existing products, and the many variations in vinyl reproduction equipment. These products represent the successful completion of an engineering challenge-- can we create a phono amplifier with a gain of over 30 000, in a single enclosure, that has inaudible noise and no hum?
To do it, we had to invent two new circuits, our SPX regulator and our Bel amp op amp. Our regulators are based on a circuit we patented in 2010, which has been used in world renowned audiophile products and by do-it-yourself-ers worldwide for more than 16 years. Bel amp is a specially designed audio op amp used in Brilliance and Radiance. With superb specifications and features, it is also available for purchase.
