What Does A Superpower Look Like?

Here are the three components we currently sell. (Another great Superpower is coming soon!) The images here are proportional to the real devices, you can get a gauge on size by holding a TO-220 packaged device near the screen image. On an 1800x1440 video screen they are approximately life size.

Note that they are covered with protective black epoxy prior to shipment so they are not as pretty as these photos.

SP ½ Amp Superpower

Belleson SP ½A Superpower

Notice the slim profile that fits a standard TO-220 footprint.

SPJ or SPL 2 Amp Superpower

Belleson SPJ or SPL 2A Superpower

Fits a standard TO-220 footprint and has great heat dissipation by allowing the output device to be heat sink or chassis mounted. When vertically mounted to a heat sink, the PCB typically sits at an angle and the output device mounts vertically to a heat sink.

SPHV 500V Superpower

Belleson SPHV 500V Superpower

A small module with solder pads and mounting holes for solid secure connections and easy chassis mount. The output device can be easily mounted to a chassis or heat sink. High performance connections include output sense and separate reference and power grounds. The TO-220 output device can also be removed and mounted separately, connected via "flying leads."

New 1.2V Superpower!

Announcing our latest breakthrough! A Superpower designed for the new lower voltage circuits such as those using the ESS Sabre DAC. This includes products from Oppo, Peachtree audio, twistedpear Buffalo DAC and more. SPLV is a variation on our patent pending design to allow the internal circuit to work even when powered by the very low Vout. The data sheet will be completed soon and parts are available to order NOW on our order page.

Transformer Calculator!

We have a new Transformer Calculator to calculate the minimum Vrms voltage of a transformer for your Superpower based supplies.
