Superpower = super regulation for high voltage
Superpower uses a floating current reference to provide regulation at any voltage,
allowing the output voltage to be set with a single resistor. The entire reference
circuit is bootstrap powered from the regulated output voltage for best performance.
The following oscillograms demonstrate line and load regulation.
Line regulation—65mV sawtooth ripple on 300V DC(bottom), AC output (top)
A 300V DC input signal contains typical full wave rectified ripple as a sawtooth
wave. The above signal has ripple of 65mVpp, which is cleanly removed by a Superpower.
Load regulation—33mA through 10K (bottom), output voltage (top)

This illustrates again the low output impedance and clean, fast dynamic response of a Superpower. The lower trace is a 300V change across a 10K ohm load, for 30mA pulsed load current (10W). The top trace shows a mere 10mV change in Vout.
